Abigail K Ansu
CHAIR OF THE BOARD
Abigail Ansu, Board Chair of the NKWA Foundation, works to drive the vision and work of the NKWA Foundation. Abigail previously worked at Sunyani Regional Hospital as Clinical Psychologist where she met with clients to identify problems either emotional or behavioral in their lives. Abigail holds a B.A. in Psychology/Religion from University of Ghana Legon. Abigail was a past intern for the NKWA Foundation.

VICE CHAIR OF THE BOARD
Lieutenant Junior Grade Lloyd, Vice Chair of the NKWA Foundation, works to drive the vision and work of the NKWA Foundation. A native of Montpelier Ohio, Lieutenant Junior Grade Lloyd graduated from the University of Toledo in 2010 with a bachelor of business administration, focusing in Professional Sales and Marketing. After graduation, he pursued a career with Hess Corporation selling natural gas contracts in the New England region, where he spent 4 years as an account manager. He attended Officer Candidate School for the Navy where he received his commission in December 2015. Lieutenant Junior Grade Lloyd was a past intern for the NKWA Foundation. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and spending time with his Wife Brooke.
RAMZY OKYERE
SECRETARY OF THE BOARD
Nkwa Foundation is led by the founder and the Executive Director, who manages the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. Ramzy Okyere holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast and a Higher National Diploma in an accounting option from Accra Polytechnic.
He has worked with Abusua Foundation and Proworld Ghana as an accounts manager. He is also very passionate about youth mobilization and community support work.
ISAIAH OKYERE
TREASURY OF THE BOARD
Board Experience: Association of Government Accountant 2011 - 2017
Isaiah was a senior associate in KPMG’s Federal Audit Practice in the Washington, D.C. office and also subcontracted with ERNST & YOUNG LLP as Supervisory Auditor from 2005 to 2011 in both capacities, he performs CFO Act consolidated financial statement audits for many of the United States executive branch departments and agencies, agreed upon procedures (AUP), compliance audits and review procedures on many Federal agencies, local government and not-for-profit audits. Perform these procedures in accordance with OMB Bulleting 07-04, Audit Requirements for Federal Financial Statements (and its predecessors), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), the Government Accountability Office/President's Council on Integrity and Efficiency (GAO/PCIE), the Yellow Book, Financial Audit Manual (FAM), Single audits and Federal Credit Reform Act of 1990 (FCRA).
He also has an extensive knowledge with compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Agency for International Development Acquisition Regulations (AIDAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), HHS Acquisition Regulation System (HHSAR), NASA FAR, Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) and DFARS.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Business Administration and Masters in Accounting and Financial Management both from the University of Maryland University College.
Chad Martin
SENIOR ADVISOR TO THE BOARD
Chad Martin was elected to Martinsville City Council on November 8, 2016 and began his four year term on January 3, 2017.
Council Member Chad Martin is a graduate of Shaw University with a bachelor's degree in Religion & Philosophy; he studied at Shaw University Divinity School, and holds a Duke University certification in nonprofit management.
Council Member Martin has worked in the nonprofit world for over 15 years as a community organizer, Hunger Justice Leader for Bread for the World, volunteer coordinator for the women’s shelter, CASA, suicide hotline trainer, Crisis Intervention Trainer for several law enforcement agencies, Vice-President of The Martin Luther King Jr. planning council, Good News Prison Ministry, reentry council and many more.
Martin is currently with the Commonwealth Attorney's office in Martinsville, Va. Chad serves as the acting director of the Martinsville Henry County community development corporation. He is a 2016-2017, Middle Border Forward Fellow which seeks to bring regional change to the Danville, Pittsylvania County, and North Carolina locale. He is a Starting Bloc Fellow DC'17, and City works Xpo Fellow 2017-2018. He has spent the majority of his life in service to others and hopes one day someone can report that they have benefited from his help.

Kofi Effah
General Programmes Coordinator
Kofi Effah is the General Programs Coordinator, responsible for driving the internship programs for the foundation. His desk ensures that both existing and prospective programs are well designed to make interns and volunteers achieve their placement aims and objectives with the foundation.
He holds a first degree in Education (Bachelor of Education) from the University of Cape Coast. He worked as the CEO of Merge Consult and Trading Venture, an event and management consulting firm in Cape Coast before joining Nkwa Foundation.
TAKASHI HOMMA
Volunteer Coordinator
He is responsible for coordinating the recruitment of volunteers and interns to the foundation. He can respond to inquiries in Japanese. hommankwa@gmail.com

IT Coordinator
Richard Essuman is the IT coordinator of Nkwa Foundation , he is responsible for coordinating IT related projects by the foundation. He also manages the IT infrastructure of the organization.
